Inspired by open landscapes and the quiet warmth of sunset. Fragments of color and texture come together like traces across the earth, carrying a sense of stillness, space and somewhere remembered.
A one-of-a-kind canvas tote bag finished with hand-applied patchwork and embroidery, bringing a more considered, elevated feel to the everyday tote. Each textile fragment is individually selected, placed and stitched by ZAYNAB’s hand in Egypt. No identical version of this piece will be made.
Materials
Cotton duck canvas, reclaimed textile fragments and cotton lining.
Techniques
Hand-applied patchwork. Hand embroidery.
Construction
Constructed in a refined tote silhouette with sturdy shoulder straps and a fully lined cotton interior. Finished with a concealed zipped pocket and magnetic closure, balancing everyday function with a clean, considered finish.
Care
We recommend professional dry cleaning, or gentle hand washing in cold water when needed. Avoid machine washing, tumble drying and high temperatures. Steam gently to remove creases.
Variation
Small variations in stitching, fabric texture and handcrafted details are part of the making process. They are not considered imperfections, but traces of the hand that made the piece entirely its own.
